7-night, 8-day Charter Sample Itinerary

Day One

Sail 30 minutes and 3 nautical miles to Hermitage Bay Beach.

Guests will fly in and out of VC Bird International Airport (ANU), in the northeast corner of the Island of Antigua, and then transfer to Jolly Harbour Marina to be welcomed aboard Valentina.

Jolly Harbour is a resort village on the west of Antigua. Its boardwalk is home to cafes, bars, and restaurants. The Jolly Harbour Marina is home to shops, restaurants and services. Two beautiful white-sand beaches are just a short stroll from the center; the perfect place for a therapeutic dip at the end of the day and the ideal place to watch the sun setting. The Jolly Harbour Golf Club has an 18-hole championship course. Inland trails in Greencastle Hill National Park pass volcanic rock formations and offer sweeping island views. 

Later that day, relax at Hermitage Bay Beach or visit Pigs Paradise, where you can paddle, pet, feed, and cuddle our friendly piglets on a secluded picturesque beach.

Day Two

Sail 1 hour and 6 nautical miles to Deep Bay or Dickenson Bay.

This alluring expansive turquoise bay is embraced by picturesque rolling hills and dominated by the iconic Fort Barrington. Within a mere 10-minute stroll, you can take in amazing views and explore this historic fort, a testament to the rich history of this destination. Nestled along the bay's pristine white sand beach, you will find charming vendor stalls offering local treasures, as well as a luxurious beachfront hotel and an exclusive beach club. The 'Andes Shipwreck,' a popular diving spot conveniently located at the bay's entrance. Immerse yourself in the mysteries of the deep as you explore this captivating underwater world.

Tranquil waters and a wide beach highlight this scenic sandy spot. Dickenson Bay is on the Northwestern coast of Antigua and is the most developed beach on the island, with hotels, restaurants, and water sports facilities. A popular meeting place, the shallow calm waters and white sand provide a perfect setting for a perfect beach day.

Day Three

Sail 4 hours and 25 nautical miles to Princess Diana Beach, on the Island of Barbuda.

This absolutely stunning crescent-shaped beach is covered in white sand with a seasonal pink sand appearance. The sublime southwest-facing beach is home to several ultra-exclusive resorts and housing developments under construction, but anyone is free to enjoy the often footprint-free sands lapped by the crystal-clear sea. This beach offers ultra-seclusion. Previously known as Coco Point Beach, it was renamed in honor of Princess Diana, who loved vacationing here.

Day Four

Sail 2 hours and 10 nautical miles to Low Bay

A strip of pillow-soft pink sand runs parallel to the calm turquoise, crystal-clear lagoon, and apart from the Lighthouse Bay Resort, there is nothing here but sand and sea. No other hotels, bars, restaurants, or even a fishing shanty interrupt the natural landscape. The remoteness of Barbuda, and this beach in particular, make it perfect for meditation, solitude, or romance as it’s often deserted.

For bird lovers, Barbuda is home to the largest Frigate Bird Colony in the Western Hemisphere. The Frigate Bird Sanctuary can be visited and contains over 170 species of birds in addition to the more than 5,000 Frigate birds that call Barbuda their home. In total, the Barbuda Frigate Bird Sanctuary has an estimated population of 100,000 birds.

Day Five

Sail 4 ½  hours and 29 nautical miles to Jumby Bay at Long Island or Great Bird Island, on the northeast side of Antigua.

Long Island, also known as Jumby Bay, is an island off the northeast coast of Antigua. The island is a luxurious, all-inclusive retreat that’s set on a 300-acre private island, just two miles off Antigua’s northeast coast. Day Six

Sail 2.5 hours and 15 nautical miles to Green Island,  on the southeast side of Antigua.

Day Seven

Sail 2 hours and 10 nautical miles to Nelson's Dockyard Marina in English Harbour.

Day Eight

Nelson's Dockyard Marina

Upon conclusion of the charter, Valentina’s crew bids guests farewell and safe travels as they disembark and transfer to catch their flights home from VC Bird International Airport (ANU).
